Made in response to the Adobe x Keith Haring Foundation 'Art is for Everyone' competition brief : ' Create art for positive change using the new brush set provided on Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Fresco'.
I created this piece called 'Justice, Joy and Peace' to draw attention to matters regarding the Black Lives Matter movement.
Made during 2020 BLM protests and after the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Jacob Blake and many other deaths of black innocent people in the hands of police.
For this competition I was inspired by Keith Haring's street art in NYC subways - spreading peace, love and political messages.
I made this piece to explore and spread black joy, acceptance, and the feeling of representation to many POC and BAME people globally.
